TEXAS STRONGEST MAN/WOMAN

Cash Prizes for 1st/2nd/3rd: We don't have exacts yet, but it won't be a little, it'll be high hundreds if not thousands (really shooting for a minimum of 1K for 1st), just working on sponsors now.

We've never seen it so we decided not to do trophies, and in true Texas style we're doing Belt Buckles (like you would win at a rodeo).  Who wouldn't want to display they are TEXAS STRONGEST MAN/WOMAN all the time.  

Yes, there are other "Texas Strongest Man" competitions, but they are always tied to a federation.  This, inherently, has a major drawback of not bringing the best in the state to the same competition.  Some athletes will only compete in one or the other based on their fed preference.  This is UNSANCTIONED!  This competition has NOTHING to do with either federation.  We simply want EVERYONE, the best of the best in our great state to show up and find out who's truly, TEXAS' STRONGEST MAN/WOMAN!!

EVENTS:

We are very much in the infancy of this competition, but the outline is there to see.  We will be locking in weights and type (rep/speed/max/etc) in the next month.  

This Competition has been approved by the city and will be in conjunction with other town festivities.  

If we can secure the funds from some sponsors, we want to bring in a PRO division, pay for travel and lodging, and have a good sized payout.  This has been done in the past by Josh Thigpen and I think it's needed.  We have enough WSM competitors and WSM Level Competitors in our state to host a true pro division (MEN AND WOMEN).

This is a TSC: The Strong Comp event being directed by Spence, Robert.  Spence has hosted multiple competitions across the state over the past few years. Including: USA Fit Games, American Heroes Classic I,II,III, Sherman Celtic Festival I and II coming up in March, other unsanctioned comps, and he has directed multiple other comps for other promoters.  Every show he does is very well ran with EXTREME attention to detail.  Implements are always top notch, and judging is always strict and unbiased.  If we say we are paying, we are paying.  Events and event weights DO NOT Change once we are 16 weeks out from an event (we have removed events day of due to safety issues, but never added or changed an event).
