1st place – Arnold 2025 and Nationals 2024

2nd place – Nationals 2024

3rd place – Nationals 2024

4th place – Nationals 2024 with 9 or more competitors per class

5th place – Nationals 2024 with 12 or more competitors per class. 

COMPETITION SHIRTS

One free T-shirt per person. Additional shirts are $20.00.

SPECTATORS

The spectator fee:

$20 per person, kids under the age of 12 are free.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

There are no specific qualifications that must be made to participate in this event. Athletes must simply be an active member of Strongman Corporation to compete in this event. If you do not have an active membership, you will NOT be able to compete.

Event 1 - Silver Dollar Deadlift

In an auction style event, athletes will have 3 attempts, Wessels rules, to find their max weight. You miss, you are out. You pick your weight attempts. You have 30 seconds from the start to try to complete the lift of your choice. Weight listed is minimum starting weight. 

Women - 10lb jumps

Men - 20lb jumps

Allowed: straps, belt

Not Allowed: suits, gloves

Event 2 - Viking Press

The Viking press apparatus will be adjusted to the correct height for each competitor. Athletes will lift the Viking press to a full overhead lockout and must show control with their feet even and still. The judge will give a “Down” command when a good rep has been achieved. The lifter must lower the implement to the shoulders before beginning the next rep. The implement may be set down at any point. Athletes will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible. Note that due to the point at which the weights are loaded on the apparatus the weight will feel slightly less than the listed weights.

Event 3 - Bag Over Bar

Athletes will throw a series of 4 sandbags over a crossbar in the fastest time within a 60 sec time limit.

Women - 13ft

Men - 15ft

Event 5 - Fingal Fingers

Athletes will flip 3 Fingal Fingers for time. This will be an event where the fastest time wins.  Athlete will start with hands OFF the implement.  On the judges GO command, the athlete will clean the finger and walk it hand over hand until it tips and falls to the other side. The athlete will then continue on to the second and third fingers and repeat the process as fast as possible. Must wear event shirt, Gloves are ok.
